My Mission

At Mycelium Woven Wall, the mission is to reshape the construction industry with eco-friendly, sustainable walls made from mycelium. Through the use of mycelium, CO2 emissions and the environmental impacts of traditional drywall are reduced. The walls are not only environmentally conscious but also fire-resistant and support a more sustainable future.
The belief is that innovation is crucial to addressing the global climate crisis. Through the idea of mycelium walls, a contribution is made to a more sustainable future, orienting with global efforts against climate change while providing construction solutions that are eco-friendly and durable for future generations.

Who I am?

Brandon Xu, a senior in the Bay Area, is intending to pursue a career in environmental engineering to continue learning about the application of environmental concepts to solve real-world problems. In his spare time, soccer, badminton, and basketball are enjoyed, along with fishing, contributing to the community garden, and spending time with family and friends.

Purpose

At Myceliumwovenwall.com, a focus in developing mycelium-based products that are functional and eco-friendly is provided. Mycelium Woven Wall is designed as an eco-friendly product to reduce the environmental impact of traditional drywall. With each product created, one step is taken toward a more sustainable future where waste is minimized, and the use of natural resources are balanced
